Love, 1, 2, 3, 4,
Can I Have a Little More,
5, 6, 7, 8… Yeah!

(Okay, I cheated a bit, but not really.  (Shut up and listen!)  Seven spelled out has two syllables, but, in my defense, true Nipponese haiku uses symbol based concepts where we use spelled out words, with what is a syllable based on discrete vowel sounds. So, numerals are the symbols for each number. You could pick a different language where the “name” of a numbar might have a different number of syllables. Besides, don’t get me started on the whole rigidity of the syllable thing in English based haiku versus Nipponese haiku. I can be an argumentative cuss!)
